Women in Alternative Assets is a professional organization that provides a forum for networking with peers, discussion of issues relevant to the industry and promoting the advancement of its members.
Women in Alternative Assets (WIAA) is a non-profit organization originally formed in Boston in 2001. The group provides informal networking opportunities for senior level executive women in the Venture Capital, Hedge Funds and Private Equity sectors, where professionals can network, share experiences, and benefit from continued professional and personal development.
Since 2001, WIAA has grown to over 100 members, representing all areas of alternative assets. Through a series of networking events each year, WIAA offers programs, speakers, and topics relevant to current issues and challenges faced by professionals in the industry.
